Between the Liner Notes's third episode "I Want My MTV" took home the Mirror Award for "Best Single Story – Radio, Television, Cable or Online Broadcast Media". The ceremony took place at Cipriani 42nd Street Thursday, June 9th 2016. Established by Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, the awards honor the reporters, editors, broadcasters, podcasters and teams of writers who hold a mirror to their own industry for the public’s benefit.
